A little about me…
I am Giovanni Canales, I am born and raised here in sunny Los Angeles, CA. In photography, what I am really chasing after is producing authentic lifestyle portraits that oooooze with emotion and tug on the heart. I love the vulnerability that a photo can expose a person's soul and it becomes a natural invitation to a deeper truth of our very existence. I am consistently trying to grow in my craft and pursue art that inspires and portrays humanity to chase after authenticity. I enjoy the freedom to think outside the box, and do my best to partner with unconventional ideas to produce abstract authentic art. I aspire to create honest and intuitive work while delivering life giving and thoughtful meaning behind the photographs I take.
When it comes to shooting couples, I want pursue and expose the genuine raw unrelenting love that draws you two together. I’m not there to just show up with a camera and shoot. I want this to be more than a photoshoot, I want it to become an experience that you two can take away with. It is about giving in to the electricity that pulls you towards one another and allowing me to capture what already is there. I create with you not for you, and together we can make something magical, leaving you loving each other more. So let’s go on an adventure together.
