 FREQUENT QUESTIONS

You’ve got questions? I’ve got answers. Don’t hesitate to reach out with more either!

Ask me here

How would you describe your style?

I am all about the feels and capturing authentic unique moments that really show true intimacy and connection. I love the look of vintage film cameras and I try to replicate a similar look when I edit photos that are warm, unsaturated, and a little grainy for texture.

How long does it take for us to receive our photos?

My turnaround time is 6-8 weeks, but I like to spoil my friends with a few instagrammable photos so you can quickly begin to share with your friends and family.  You’ll be the first to know when your photos are ready.

Do you travel?

I will travel anywhere for the sake of art! I am willing to hop on a plane, sale furious storms, walk a million miles to get the location you want. Realistically, I do need your help to make that happen. Drop a message and we can hash out the details. Inquire Now

Do I get a floppy disc of all the high-res edited photos?

Maybe if it were 1988. But generally, I will send you an email with a link of all your downloadable high resolution images through WeTransfer. You can also upgrade to an Online Gallery using PixieSet or ask us about leather-bound wedding albums.

How long do you spend on formal family photos at weddings?

I like to spend about 15-20 minutes taking a few quick family photos. If you want a picture with your third cousin twice-removed, we can grab that at the reception.

What is a first look and should we do one?

A first look is when you see your partner before the ceremony before anyone else does. It is an intimate moment you can share with your partner and you won’t regret it, but you can’t never go wrong with the traditional route.

How do payment schedules work?

I require 50% deposit to secure your spot on my calendar, and the remaining 50% is due one week prior to wedding day. Ask us about paying in full to earn another 10% off your package.

What's in your camera bag?

I use a Sony A7iii Full Frame Mirrorless Digital Camera along with a range of versatile focal length lenses.

Where are your prices?

Every project is uniquely different in every way and so are you. Click Here

Can I have all of the unedited photos you took at our wedding?

No, and you’re going to thank me when I don’t. There are more than a few photos to look through before I begin adding the magic of editing but I promise not to leave out any photos that you will want or need. If there is a photo in mind, just ask and I’ll look into it.

How many wedding/engagement photos will I get?

You'll receive at least 25 photos of your engagement sessions and at 500 photos at minimum from your wedding day. But do not worry, these photos are your memories not mine, and I am more than happy to spoil with many more.

Can you photoshop us?

I don’t alter the way you look other than skin blemishes or anything temporary that would not normally be there (bruise, scrape, acne etc unless you’d like me to). If you’re self conscious about something, please let me know as I’ll be sure to be aware of that while I’m posing you. Advanced retouching per image is $15 per photo.

Can we get a wedding book?

Absolutely! Invest in something tangible that you can look back on and reminisce. Please inquire for more info.

Do you do also provide Videography Services?

I don’t specialize in videography, however, I have worked with plenty of professional videographers that I now call friends, and would be happy to send recommendations your way!

What should we wear to our engagement session?

Dress what best describes you plus more. If you want to go a bit adventurous and go hike somewhere for location, pack some comfortable shoes, water, and snacks. Bring that hat, flowy dress, vintage boots, and an attire that describes you without saying a word. If you still need some tips, just let me know and I can help.

Do you have any advice from a Photographer's perspective for our wedding day?

Don’t hold back on getting the hotel of your dreams or a visually amazing location that has plenty of natural light flowing through the windows for your getting ready photos, and your first look. Outdoor receptions are the best because we can take advantage of all the beautiful natural light. Plus, a location with textures, color, and personality make killer backdrops for your photos. Your wedding photos are going to last a lifetime, so don’t hold back on investing in the photographer/videographer of your dreams to capture one of the most important days of your life.
